The Nuns’ Referendum – Feature Screenplay

Inspired by true life events: 

As Hitler’s troops rescue Mussolini in the Autumn of 1943, Italian Jews flee for their lives. A reformist Reverend Mother infuriates her fellow Catholic nuns, by insisting they hold a referendum on whether to cast out the Jewish families discovered hiding within the Convent walls.
